Weekly Essential Oil~ Lavender

Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) essential oil is steam distilled from the flowers of the Lavender plant.  It has a sweet herbal, floral scent and is a middle-top note.  Lavender is a gentle oil with many uses and is safe to use with children.  It is a calming oil and can help reduce anxiety and panic attacks.  It is very calming to the mind and is a wonderful oil for sleep support.  Lavender is also very useful in blends for the skin, whether for treating skin irritations, burns, bee stings or part of your daily skin care routine.  Due to Lavender's linalol and linalyl acetate content, it is an effective pain reliever for tension headaches as well as pain due to injury.

  5. Thanks for the recipe. I regularly use lavender essential oils to relax and fight insomnia. However, just use it with an aromatherapy diffuser without any recipe. I feel your recipe is very interesting, definitely have to try.
